So I knew I had a chance in hell in really completing Rapha Rising I thought I would give it a try. Emphasize TRY. So a couple days I rode my new rig and my fixed without any measuring device.  Oh well it was fun getting out putting in the miles.

In total I wound up with 7,789ft climbed of 68,897 required by Rapha Rising. 

Thanks to Rapha for throwing down one hell of a challenge. Maybe next year I will plan better to head to some mountains.

19th reason for Rapha Raising fail. 48.76 miles of gravel along the river doesn’t equal many feet of elevation.

18th reason for Rapha Raising. Give me points for half the brewery being from Bend, Oregon. I’m carbo loading for the weekend.

17th reason for my Rapha Raising failure. Shakedown of the new ride without any measuring devices. Oh well tomorrow is another day.
